How it works

When a prospective student asks for a tutor, we try to find the most appropriate one, by consideration of subjects offered, locality, and availability.  We contact the tutor, explain your needs and requirements, if the tutor is available, we arrange for the first tutorial.  In some cases the tutor may prefer to discuss details with you directly, should you agree.

The tutor can then choose to contact the client directly to arrange time and day of first tutorial or GradTutors can do it on the tutor’s behalf. The fee is agreed between the student and GradTutors. This fee will include tuition fee and agency fee. This fee is to be paid to the tutor at the end of each lesson.

GradTutors will usually request feedback from both tutor and client on first tutorial, if it was a success then both parties are requested to continue. Should the lesson fail, GradTutors will attempt to improve and support lessons for both tutor and client. Should this not be appropriate then another tutor will be assigned the work. No refunds are made after successfully completing the first lesson, in the rare case that refund is required prior to lessons starting, a reasonable administration fee will be deducted.

Upon commencement of tutorials, the tutor and client should exchange telephone numbers in case it is necessary for either party to postpone a lesson.  This could save wasted journeys. Should there be any changes both tutor and client must contact GradTutors immediately.
